Now set on a secluded, 2 1/2 acre lot overlooking a lake and with a spectacular view of the surrounding Chugach Mountains - you'll almost forget you're in Anchorage - Alaska's largest city!

Featuring rural quiet with city convenience, Moose Gardens Bed and Breakfast is only 7 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes to downtown, 17 minutes to the train station and 2 minutes to Kincaid Park which has views of the inlet and extensive trails for hiking in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter (Kincaid Park is the southern terminus of Anchorage's famous coastal trail).

Wildlife abounds in the woods around the house. You may need do nothing but look out your window the see the moose and eagles Alaska is famous for.

An Alaska State Fair GRAND CHAMPION flower (lily) grown in one of our own Moose Gardens Bed and Breakfast flower bed.

Undeveloped, natural scenery commingles beautifully with an abundance of berries (from which we make our own homemade jams and syrups) and flowers in the beds and rockeries, especially dahlias - a family favorite. You're welcome to wander the gardens and see for yourself why so many ribbons have been awarded at the Alaska State fair.

You may want to watch TV or your chosen video or play Nintendo 64 on the big, 35" TV with surround sound in the family room; select a book or magazine from our extensive library to read and relax with; write a postcard home while surrounded by beautiful scenery in the enclosed patio; mingle outside on the deck, visit the chef at work in the kitchen;' swap stories at day's end with other guests and your hosts in the living room...

Moose Gardens B&B offers year-round access: no 4-wheel drive needed; and plenty of free parking including space for RV's.
